As Massachusetts transitions to clean, renewable energy, mainly through electrifying the state with solar and wind energy combined with battery storage, it’s important to keep in mind that not only are legacy fossil fuel projects ongoing, but new projects are being proposed. It’s important to understand the scope of these projects and where they are in the process of approvals and construction in order to pressure our legislators and regulators to consider more climate-friendly alternatives wherever possible.
