Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company, LLC (TGP) filed with FERC in docket CP25-496 to increase horsepower at their Compressor Station 245 in West Winfield, New York. They have filed under “Blanket Authority” of its previous 1952 permit, which could be expedited without any protest filings in response.
This project is intended to supply the New England gas system. It is located between the large gas pipeline hub at Wright NY, and the MA border. The TGP system is thick on the western edge of the state, with up to three “looped” pipelines (segments of pipeline running in close parallel).
